When The Sims 2 came out I remember you could log in online and trade objects with other people, but I found that useless and don't remember registering. Now in The Sims 3 I find the webpage pretty useful with the towns, sims points and more.
If you never registered the games and bought them elsewhere, then you need the serial code to register the games. Serial codes are on the game manual inside the case or in your email if you purchased any of them as digital downloads. Seasons enhances gameplay by adding seasons and weather mechanics. Each season lasts around five sim days and brings with it new challenges and gameplay options. A new type of Sim, known as a PlantSim is also added. They operate using different mechanics to normal sims. The expansion pack introduced a new neighbourhood called Riverblossom Hills. Like previous games, it has a storyline but no linear gameplay.
